My name is Kyle and I love Godzilla. Not just the king, either… I take pride in being able to enjoy all of Japan’s giant monster films. Am I an expert? Not by a long shot, but that’s kind of the point with this podcast – I want an excuse to learn more about Godzilla, his friends, his foes and the men and women who have created this fantastic genre! I used to run Henshin! Online with others (I was just the webmaster). I also have a little website called The Shrine of Gamera. In 2004, I put on the 50 Years Of Godzilla Film Festival here in Portland, Oregon at the Hollywoood Theatre. I’ve had a really great time learning about and sharing my love for Godzilla. I decided to take the step into podcasting and host the podcast KaijuCast.

When I’m brought onto a project, I set myself to the task of understanding what is the core problem to be solved, how it is being addressed, and how well the solution can be future-proofed.
In my free time, I can be found either writing, hosting and producing a movie podcast with friends, or testing out new and exciting recipes.

Neil Riebe
Neil writes in his spare time. He has contributed chapters and essays for John Lemay’s Lost Films series of books and fanzines, G-Fan, Japanese Giants, and Kaiju Ramen. During the 90s, he wrote Godzilla fanfiction for G-Fan. Matt Dennion of Atomic Rex fame corralled him to contribute to his anthology Attack of the Kaiju. From then on Neil switched from writing fan fiction to original kaiju fiction. His short stories have appeared in subsequent volumes of Attack of the Kaiju and G-Fan. His biggest accomplishments are his self-published kaiju novels. To give his work a leg up over the competition, his books include a kaiju gallery so the reader can easily imagine what the monster looks like while reading the story. His books can be found in the links below. Neil himself can be found on Facebook.
